I have had the Anker 737 Power Bank since January 4th, 2024, and initially, it was everything I could have hoped for in a power bank. It functioned flawlessly, offering the reliability and efficiency that Anker is known for. However, my enthusiasm began to wane after just a week of usage.
To my disappointment, I observed a noticeable decline in the battery’s health. It’s somewhat expected for battery health to decrease over time, but the speed at which this occurred with the Anker 737 was alarming. After merely 8 battery cycles, the health plummeted to 95%. This was concerning, as such a rapid decline hinted at potential longevity issues.
Seeking resolution, I reached out to the seller to express my concerns and was instructed to send the item back for inspection and possible repair. I complied, hopeful for a solution. After a week, the power bank was returned to me with the assurance that this battery behavior was normal and not indicative of a defect.
While I appreciate the seller’s prompt response and the effort to address my concerns, I remain somewhat skeptical. Being told that a significant drop in battery health after minimal use is ‘normal’ doesn’t sit well with me, especially coming from a brand as reputable as Anker.
In conclusion, while the Anker 737 Power Bank excels in performance and initially met all my expectations, the rapid decline in battery health and the response received when seeking assistance have left me with mixed feelings. Potential buyers might want to consider this aspect when making their purchase decision
